Obituary of Christine O Hill

Christine O. Hill, of Woodbourne, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 62. She was the daughter of the late John Ognan and Julia Lagonowicz, born on February 25, 1954 in Waterbury, CT. Christine worked for Crystal Run Village, Inc. for many years as a program director. She loved to travel all over the country with her husband Tim before he passed away collecting antique bottles. Both her and Tim were members of the Hudson Valley Antique Bottle Club and were avid collectors of antique flasks. When she wasn't hunting down a bottle to add to her collection, she enjoyed listening to music, and watching baseball. She was also known to be a great lover of animals. She was a loving niece, aunt and friend, she will be deeply missed. "I will miss my 'sister' Chris, I will always love her"-Penny She is survived by her nephews Matthew and John Ognan; her niece Vivian Ognan; two uncles Walter Lagonowicz of Florida and Bro. Peter Lagonowicz of New Jersey; and her very close friends Penny and Eli Santiago. She is predeceased by her husband Timothy "Tim" Hill and her brother Peter. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30a on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 12noon at Immaculate Conception Church, 6317 State Route 42, Woodbourne, NY 12788. Burial to follow at Grahamsville Rural Cemetery.
