Christine was my closest friend even though we weren't on the phone a lot, and didn't live close, we knew we were there for one another. We were friends for so many years, at least 35, and her passing leaves a hole not only in my heart but for anyone who knew her. Chris and I went to shows together after Tim passed on, and always had dinner after the show with our other friend Gale. We shared stories about our dogs, too. She loved Douly and Foxy so much. Chris was so smart, funny, sage, and trustworthy. I am so sorry for what Chris had to endure and I will always miss her. May she rest in peace.

I know Penny, Eli and the Hill family and friends have saddened hearts because of losing Christine recently in death. So I want to share this beautiful scripture where our heavenly father, Jehovah, (Psalm 83:18) promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God Jehovah understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. ." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. (Psalm 34:18) For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt It has provided me with many more scriptures that have given me comfort, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. (John 5: 28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." It is my prayer these scriptures will give you comfort in your grief. Again, I offer my sincere condolences to the family. I am a fellow collector from North Carolina who met Chris and Tim at a bottle show over 25 years ago. We became great friends over the following years She loved "talking bottles" and talking about her dogs. She and Tim were such wonderful people to be around. I loved seeing her at the shows, visiting her at home and talking on the phone. My wife Kim and I will miss her greatly.

I would like to say how very sorry I am to hear of Chris’s passing. She was such a kind and compassionate person. Her love for people with different abilities and animals was a wonderful example to so many people. She was a great humanitarian whose passion for work and disposition will be missed greatly by all who knew her. I had the pleasure of working with her for more than 10 years. Although I did not know her real family, to those of us who worked with her at Crystal Run Village, she was family to us. I wish I could be with all of you today as you celebrate her life. Although Chris’s light here on earth will be missed by so many, I am sure that heaven has gained a bright shining star.

My condolences to Chris family. It was a pleasure working with Chris at CRVI. She loved working there and spending time with all the people she supported those who lived there and those who worked there. She had a great love for her Tim and now she can be with him again.

I am Christine's cousin, Jeanne Orzech Reed. Her mother Julie Lagonowicz Ognan and my mother Wanda Lagonowicz Orzech were sisters. There was a third sister Jennie Lagonowicz Slowick. Therefore, Christine also has several other cousins: Joan Slowick Wells, Margaret Slowick Adair, Christopher Orzech, and Benjamin Slowick.
After college each of us went in different directions but kept in contact via cards, letters and emails. We will certainly miss Christine and know that she rests in God's hands now.

My name is Vivian Kasley(not Ognan) as I am married, but I am her niece and she was my godmother. She knew me as Rae. I only wish we got to know each other even more. We were talking more and more and learning about each other. You said we were "two peas in a pod". We lost a lot of years as we lost touch and we were trying to make up for them. Aunt Chris, wherever it is you are, I'm thinking of you. I'm very sad you left this earth so soon and hope you're at peace. We were connected even though we were not near and I will always think of you.
Your loving niece and god daughter,
Rae
