About Us

On September 7, 1997 an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony was held for Colonial Memorial Funeral Home in Woodbourne, NY. The owner is a licensed Funeral Director, Anthony Perito, who has been in the business for over 30 years.
Mr. Perito's first and primary location is 396 State Route 52 in Woodbourne, New York. The building was built in the 1830's. This center hall colonial farmhouse celebrated it's 180th anniversary in 2010. Built from stones found in the nearby Neversink River this beautiful house contains 18 rooms. The facility provides ample space for services including three chapels which can seat over 100 people, a
casket room and a large receiving area. This location is a professional environment that provides the comfort of a warm, traditional home feeling.

In a short time Mr. Perito added two other locations to his business. Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home, located at 29 Pearl Street in Livingston Manor, New York which has a very large main chapel that can seat over 100 people. The other, located in Ellenville, New York, is no longer owned or operated by Mr. Perito but, he continues to service the community and families of Ellenville through his Woodbourne location. All of Mr. Perito's locations are found in the beautiful scenic Catskill Mountains of New York.

With all his facilities Mr. Perito gives personal and professional service to each of the families that he helps. Even with these modern days he keeps with traditional, quaint and comforting service that people need during this stressful time of their lives.
