Obituary of Mary T. Dymond

Mary T. Dymond of Neversink passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at home. She was 69. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Rose (Cronin) Sullivan, born on February 28, 1949 in Bayonne, New Jersey. Mary was always willing to lend a helping hand and knew she wanted to help people; this lead her to a career in nursing. She received her BSN from Niagara University and later received her FNP from Pace University. She was a nursing professor at Orange County Community College. For many years she served as the school nurse for Tri-Valley Central Schools. She took care of countless patients at a variety of medical facilities in the Sullivan and Orange Regions for more than four decades. She touched the lives of many people and didn't know much of an influence she truly had. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all that knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children Mary Rose Dymond and her husband Jeff McGregor of Shelton, CT, Calvin Dymond and his wife Michelle of Bloomingburg, Daniel Dymond and his wife Kristen of Mickleton, NJ, Timothy Dymond of Grahamsville, Ellie Cassidy and her husband Chris of Bloomingburg, her grandchildren Anna, Callum, Calvin, Josh, Ava, Bryce, Liam, Reese, Rory, Jordan, Addison, Timmy, Izzy, and Jackson, her sister Doreen Williams and her husband Bob, her brother Daniel Sullivan. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Calvin Dymond. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 2-4:00pm, and 7-9:00pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Grahamsville Rural Cemetery, Grahamsville, NY.
