Obituary of Marvin M Streigold

Marvin M Streigold of Kansas passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the University of Kansas Hospital. He was 82. He was the son of the late Jack and Sylvia Mildner Streigold born on January 30, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. Marvin proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corp. from 1954-1957. He continued to service his community as a law enforcement officer for the duration of his career. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone that knew and loved him. He was a loving husband to Janet Gitlin Streigold and to Sher Streigold. Father to Alan W Streigold, Christie Bohannon, and Cindy M Newman. Proud grandfather to Jared J Streigold, Catie Vasquez, Dakota Ogden, Jenna Ogden, Marlee Ogden, Janet Newman, Sarah Newman and Preston Newman. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10:00am at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788, Rabbi Zoe Zach will officiate. Interment will follow at Congregation B`Nai Israel, Glen Wild NY. In lieu of flowers donations in Marvin's name can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project PO Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
