Obituary of Katherine Ethel Masterpolo

Katherine Ethel Masterpolo, of South Fallsburg, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 76. She was the daughter of the late Michael Masterpolo and Lena Phelps, born on September 27, 1941, in Albany, NY. Katherine truly enjoyed living life to the fullest and spending her time outdoors either fishing or gardening. She was a very creative woman who loved people. She was a loving companion, mother, step-mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed. She leaves behind her husband Grandville "Grant" Copeland; her children Richard Fredenburg and his wife Valerie, Donna and Doreen Fredenburg and Michael Fredenburg and his wife Tammy; step-children: Anthony Grant Copeland, Suburban Copeland and Anthony Grant Valente; grandchildren Nicholas, Vincent, Anthony, Jessica, David and Melissa; and her brother John Masterpolo. She is predeceased by her brother Richard Masterpolo. Visitation will be held from 10a to 12p on Saturday, April 7th at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Burial will take place following the funeral service at Woodbourne Cemetery.
