Obituary of Jimmy Bernard Holt

Jimmy Bernard Holt of Loch Sheldrake passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at home with his sister by his side. He was 47. He was the son of Lula Doris McEachin and the late Charles Bernard Holt, born on November 22, 1970 in Brooklyn, NY. Jimmy was a hard worker and for many years he worked for Nonnies Food Company as a machine operator. He loved listening to music and was extremely fond of Bob Marley. He enjoyed working out, boxing, but most importantly spending time with his daughter, family and friends. Jim was an old school candy connoisseur. He was very knowledgeable about all the different kinds of candies he grew to love as a kid. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend that will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him. He is survived by the light of his life his daughter Taylor Magabang Holt, his mother Lula Doris Holt, his sister and caregiver Verna Denise Darby and her husband Darrin, his nieces and nephews Michael Darrin Darby, Darrin Charles Darby, Danielle Elizabeth Darby, and Dominque April Darby, his great nephews Deon Silverio-Mendez, Kayden Michael Darby and great niece Mackenzie Parker-Darby. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 2-4:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 4th at 11:00am Pastor James Hinton will officiate.
