Obituary of Gladys Anna Miller

Gladys Anna Miller of Mountaindale passed away on Tuesday, February 20,2018 at the Skilled Nursing Unit at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 108. The daughter of the late Russell and Helen DeHart, she was born on December 09, 1909 in Newark, NJ. In 1946 Gladys married Frank Miller, a native of Hurleyville, New York. After they were married they decided to settle in Loch Sheldrake, New York and start their lives. A Family Statement read: Mom, I had you for so many years for which I am truly grateful. You were 108 years old and not many people reach such an incredible age. You certainly were special to your family and I will miss you. You brought us much happiness. Till we meet again…. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Helene Kwoka and her grandchildren, Matthew, Adam and Christopher; her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Nahla, Zayn, George and Nora. They loved their GEGA. The family would like to thank the SNU unit at CRMC for their compassionate care of Gladys for the last seven years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, one sister, Alma and one brother, Harry. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Hurleyville Cemetery at__________ with interment to follow.
