Obituary of Nancy Manzino

Nancy M. Manzino (nee Nelson), of Bronxville, NY, passed away on January 23, 2013, after a brief illness. She was born on March 16, 1956 in Yonkers, NY, to the late Margaret and Ed Nelson, she was raised and attended schools in Hastings-on-Hudson. Focusing on education, Nancy earned two Masters Degrees from IONA College and taught mathematics at Albert Leonard Middle School in New Rochelle. She retired in 2011 after 30 years of service. Nancy was also an adjunct professor of education and a member of the Ethics Board of Yonkers, NY. She is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Richard. Nancy was the devoted mother of Marissa (Carlos) Vazquez, of Madrid, Spain. Visitation will be on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704 from 4-8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Parish 670 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704.
