Obituary of Cheryl Krum

Cheryl Krum, of Livingston Manor, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017. She was 70 She was the daughter of Mary Ann Wygell and the late Paul Maurer, born on May 17, 1946 in Cooperstown, NY. Cheryl worked as a teacher for 30 years in Livingston Manor teaching grades kindergarten to 4th grade until her retirement. In her free time Cheryl was an avid reader and loved to cook or watch cooking shows. She also enjoyed music and playing the piano and loved the Grooville Church and was a real people person. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband Bruce M. Krum; her mother Mary Ann Maurer; children Paul L. Krum and his wife Kim, of Stamford, NY and Carla M Krum of Cobleskill, NY; grandchildren Samuel and Mary Krum of Cobleskill; sisters Christie Marlette and her husband Jerry of Unadilla, NY and Corrine Kovatchitch and her husband Rick of East Greenbush, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations in Cheryl's name can be made to Grooville Church, DeBruce Rd. Livingston Manor, NY 12758. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4 to 6pm at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18th at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Lew Beach Cemetery.
