Obituary of Paula R. McCardell

Paula Rae McCardell nee Allen, was born on April 30, 1943 and died January 6, 2017, surrounded by her loving family and friends at home. She was 73. The daughter of the late Robert S. Allen and Josephine E. Smith Burch, she was born in Ellenville, NY. She was an amazing seamstress who enjoyed spending her time sewing and crafting. She also enjoyed spending many hours outside in her flower gardens. She is survived by her three sons, Lance O. Smith, of Gardiner, NY, Kyle A. Smith and his wife, Mary, of Grahamsville, NY, and Hayes W. McCardell, II, of Hillsboro, OR; her three grandchildren, Keira, Julianna and Benjamin Smith were her most precious gifts in life. She was predeceased by her sister, Beverley Jean Carlsen. At Paula's request, there will be no services.
