Obituary of Dale Louis Knapp

Dale Louis Knapp, of North Branch, NY, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 25, 2016, due to complications of surgery. He was the son of Thelma Jean Barton, born on July 12, 1967. He was also raised by his loving grandparents James and Grace Norwood; all of whom predeceased him. Dale was a lifelong resident of the area, an avid fisherman and hunter. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and most recently worked as a laborer at R&S Construction of W. Nyack, NY, where he was highly thought of. Dale is survived by two brothers: James Knapp and his wife, Judy, of Cochecton and Alan Barton and his fiancé AnnMarie of Cochecton; a sister Jodi Murdock of Shawnee, OK; his daughter Amanda Knapp of NY; one granddaughter; his aunt Penny Heinley; six nieces and three nephews. He is predeceased by one son Dale Knapp Jr. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
