Obituary of George I. Will
George I. Will of Livingston Manor passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Roscoe Regional Rehab & RHCF. He was 90. He was the son of the late John J. and Eunice Soules Will, born on June 26, 1922 in Livingston Manor, NY. George proudly served our county in the United States Army Air Corps as a Staff Sergeant during WWII Stationed in Brazil. George was a member of the Livingston Manor Masonic Lodge # 798 F & AM for over 66 years. He was Past Master in 1957, Past Assistant Grand Lecturer and Past District Deputy Grand Master of the Sullivan Masonic District from 1978-1979. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He particularly enjoyed traveling in his motor home with his wife and family. He was a member of the Shandelee Hunting Club for 63 years, serving as a past president and treasurer for 29 years. He was a member of the Livingston Manor Presbyterian Church; where he was a Deacon and elder and was on the Orchard Street Cemetery Board. He was the owner and operator of Will Hardware for many years. He loved to spend time with his family; he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be sorely missed. He is survived by his son George Will and his wife Diane, Paul Will and his wife Sherri all of Livingston Manor, four grandchildren Steven, David, Jason and Brian Will, three great grandchildren Marissa, Lucas, and Cameryn Will. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years Rena Will, his siblings Frances Lake, Doris Rudick and John Will. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758 from 6-9:00pm. A Masonic Service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 6 2013 at 7:30 followed by a funeral service. Interment will be at Orchard Street Cemetery, Livingston Manor, NY in the spring at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in George's name can be made to the Resident's Council Fund c/o Roscoe Regional Rehab & RHCF 420 Rockland Road, Roscoe, NY 12776.
