Obituary of Leonard J. Marino

Leonard J. Marino, of Chester, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. He was 64. He was the son of Anna Morrelli and the late Anthony Marino, born on March 1, 1952 in Bayshore, Long Island. Leonard proudly served our country in the US Marine Corps. from 1971 until 1973. He also served and protected as a police officer for Metro North. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife Mary; his children Brendan, Rachel, MaryAnn and Anthony; his eight grandchildren: James, Hannah, Grace, Julia, Pierce, Logan, Leo and Finn; his brother Joseph and his wife Marleena; sister-in-law Elizabeth; and nieces and nephews: Patrick, Alana, Sean, Daniel and Coleen. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:15am on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Church, 414 E. 14th Street, New York, NY 10009. Burial of ashes will take place at a later time at Orange County Veteran's Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
