Obituary of Ulrick Placide

Ulrick Placide Sr., passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016. He was 90. He was the son of the late Talleyrand Placide and Clairzeide Jn Louis, born on January 15, 1926 in Cap- Haitian, Haiti. Ulrick worked as a chancellor during the time that he lived in Haiti. He was also an avid reader and even went on to write two books, Ulrick Placide Precis De Chronologie Curiosites Bibliques, Volume 1 and 2 Ulrick Placide Abstract of Biblical Chronology of Interest, Volume 1 and 2. In his free time he enjoyed preaching, traveling and spending time in nature. He was known to be a person with a great sense of humor and loved his family deeply, he was a true family man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his devoted wife Sonia; his children: Daniel Placide, Samuel Placide, Marie Junia Boutros, Anne- Elie Morisseau, Ruth- Elie Beauvoir, Benjamine Seraphin, Stephanie Placide and Ulrick Placide Jr.; 28 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by a brother and sister. Visitation will be held from 1-2:30pm on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Hebron French-Speaking Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1256 Dean St, Brooklyn, NY 11216. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the church. A service will take place on Tuesday, October 11th from 10 to 11am at Ellenville SDA Church, 161 Clinton Ave, Ellenville, NY 12428. Burial to follow at Fantinekill Cemetery, Ellenville, NY.
