Obituary of Naomi A Wells

Naomi A. Wells, of Grooville, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. She was 76. She was the daughter of the late William H. Pierpoint and Naomi A Becker, born on October 17, 1939 in Arena, NY. Naomi enjoyed being creative spending a lot of her free time crocheting, knitting and she was especially famous for her handmade potpourri Christmas cards. She could often be found playing music for the seniors who lived at Jeffersonville Adult Home and the Roscoe Community Nursing Home. Naomi was always available to lend a helping hand and did so whenever she could. She loved her God and her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Daniel Wells and his wife Gail of Huntingtown, MD, William Wells and his wife Deborah of Livingston Manor, Gregory Wells and his wife Maria of Livingston Manor and Bette Goode of Neversink; her 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; her siblings William Pierpoint and his wife Elaine, Richard Simmons and Linda Pierpoint; sisters-in-law Brenda Simmons and Jean Pierpoint; and many nieces and nephews. She joins in Heaven her loving husband Lee A Wells; son-in-law Raymond Goode; and her 2 brothers and a sister. Memorial contributions in Naomi's name can be made to East Branch Community Church,C/O Paul Cicio P.O. Box 154, East Branch, NY 13756. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 4th at East Branch Community Church, Church St., East Branch, NY 13756. Rev. Paul Cicio will officiate. Fellowship to follow.
