Obituary of Ann L. Jones

Ann L. Jones of Liberty passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 93. She was the daughter of the late Jerome and Teresa Chambers Jones, born on June 11, 1923 in Savannah, GA. For many years she was a member of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Staten Island; she would often help in the Rectory. She enjoyed reading, watching soap operas, Judge Judy and sewing. She loved butterflies and she loved to cook and always made sure there was a warm plate whenever someone came to visit her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her children Sheila Jones of Staten Island, Al Jones and his wife Sharon of Livingston Manor, three grandchildren Stephanie Jones and her partner Courtney Greenwood of Binghamton, Stacey Jones of Endicott, Meredith Meehan and her husband Mike of Nyack, her great grandchildren Nikolas Zayas, Abigale Clark, Avah Jones and Lillyanna Jones, and her sister Dolores Rangel of PA. She was the widow of Albert Jones. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Colonial Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street Livingston Manor, NY 12758 from 2-4:00pm. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 15 at the funeral home at 2:00pm.
