Obituary of Wildred E Rogers

Wildred E. Rogers, of Livingston Manor, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 in Liberty. She was 97. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Boyles and Silvia Sutley, born on May 12, 1919 in Pennsylvania. Wildred enjoyed spending time with her family and up until just a few years ago, she made sure the entire family was fed a home cooked meal every Sunday. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, she will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. She is survived by her daughter Barbara J. Lewis and her husband William Klein of Youngsville; her son Gary Rogers and his wife Patricia of Livingston Manor; daughter-in-law Christine Rogers of Livingston Manor; her six grandchildren: Stacey Stephenson, Wendy Williams, Joyce Miller, Warren Rogers, Erin Allison and Alicia Reed; seven great-grandchildren: Bradley Miller, Ashley, Glenn and Amber Rogers, Evelyn and Patrick Allison and George Rogers; her sister Betty Starkweather of Liberty; her sister-in-law Edna Boyles; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her loving husband George B. Rogers Jr.; her son George B. “Dody” Rogers III; her granddaughter Allison Rogers; her son-in-law Charles W. Lewis Jr; her brothers Dwight, Milford, Richard, Raymond and Wayne; and her sisters Lucille and Donna. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
