Obituary of Francisca Daniel

Francisca Isabel Daniel “Seca” of Monticello went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 14, 2016 surround by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 56. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Daniel and Henritta Phillip born on September 2, 1959 in St. Kitts and Nevis. Seca came to New York in 2010 and later gave her heart to God. She enjoyed sports and was a member of the St. Kitts and Nevis Cricket Club. She liked watching her soap operas and loved more than anything spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew and loved her; she will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by everyone. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children; Whitmore “Dabu” Daniel and his wife Shannon Daniel, Sherma Daniel, Ketiema Orellana and her husband Francisco Orellana, Iroy Ward, Negee Harris, her sisters Rachel Phillip, Josephine Scotland, Marsha Daniel, Alicia Scotland, Margarita Daniel, Rosena Herbert and her husband Rupert Herbert, her brothers Jimmy Daniel and his wife Percil, Enrique Daniel and his wife Hazel Daniel, Thomas James and his wife Lauretta James, her grandchildren Sequioya Vasquez, Azyrah Daniel, Riel Orellana, Saniya Morales and Sa`Quin Morales. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins. And special friends Delores Browne (Gracie), Patricia Lewis, Barbara Thompson, Bert Thompson, Esworth Warner, Janice Whatson, Noami McSheen Osborne, Della Weeks and Eversley Libuird. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 10-11:00am. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00am with Rev. Melvin Boone officiating.
