Obituary of Bryan G Stewart

Bryan G. Stewart, of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. He was 31. He was the son of George Stewart and Maureen Severing, born on November 25, 1984 in Harris, NY. Bryan proudly served our country in the Army National Guard Reserves from 2006 until 2014. He was a proud graduate of Livingston Manor High School and worked as a correctional officer at Sullivan Correctional Facility. He enjoyed keeping himself healthy and fit. And he loved the simple things in life like reading, gaming and watching a good movie. And on April 1, 2015 he married the love of his life Petra. He was a loving and devoted husband, son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend to all that knew and loved him, he will be deeply missed. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Petra at home; his parents George and Maureen Stewart; his sister Abby DeFreitas and her husband Steven; his grandmother Patricia Severing; many aunts, uncles and cousins; his niece Zoey DeFreitas and nephew Noah DeFreitas. Visitation will be held today, Friday, April 8, 2016 from 6-9pm at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 12pm at the funeral home. Father Ed Bader officiating. Interment to follow at Lew Beach Cemetery.
