Obituary of Diane Beth Will

Diane Beth Will of Livingston Manor passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. She was 67. Born on August 21, 1948 in Schenectady, NY, Diane was the daughter of the late Gregory and Evelyn Utter. Diane worked as an elementary school teacher for over 30 years, retiring from Livingston Manor Central School District in 2005. She was active in the Livingston Manor community as a long time member and the acting Secretary of the Sullivan-St. Tammany Chapter #298 Order of the Eastern Star, past volunteer for the Livingston Manor Ambulance Corps and former Secretary of the Livingston Manor Teachers Association. Family was most important to Diane, who was happiest when surrounded by her husband, two sons and two grandchildren. She loved traveling with her family and close friends to Maine, Florida, Colorado, the national parks and Hawaii. As a devoted grandmother, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, perform at concerts and participate in school events. Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Diane leaves behind her husband, George V. Will at the home they built together in 1972; her eldest son, Steven Will, his wife, Jodie and their two children, Marissa and Lucas of Binghamton; her youngest son, David Will and his husband, Jeremy Burmeister of Colorado; her brother-in-law, Paul Will, his wife, Sherri and their two sons; and her extended family of close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s name can be made to the Sullivan-St. Tammany Chapter #298 Order of the Eastern Star, P.O. Box 476, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, March 29th at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Homes, 29 Pearl St., Livingston Manor, NY 12758. An Order of the Eastern Star Service will be held at 7:45 p.m. and a funeral service will follow. Interment will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 31 at Lew Beach Cemetery. Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.
