Obituary of John Curry Jr.

John Curry Jr. April 7, 1968 – March 5, 2016 John Curry Jr., of Hurleyville, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 47. He was the son of the late John Curry and Sandra Hannold, born on April 7, 1968 in Harris, NY. John worked for New Hope Community for the past 17 years. He was known to be funny and pleasant to work with. He was adored by and will be missed by all his co-workers. In his free time John was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Above all he cherished his family and loved every moment that he had to spend with them. John was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him. He will always be remembered fondly and sorely missed by all. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted wife Annette at home; his children Garrett Connor and his wife Crystal of Grahamsville, Jonathan Morton-Curry and his wife Sarah, of Grahamsville, and Stephanie Curry and her fiancé Carlos Ramirez of Glen Spey; his six grandchildren: Patrick, Jack, Paul, Lilliana, Amelia and Samuel; his siblings: Ann Curry and her fiancé Andy Mielnicki of Texas, Georgianna Curry and her partner Joe Smith of Livingston Manor, and James Curry and his wife Ashlie of Youngsville; his niece and nephew: Joshua and Ashley Deck; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins from both sides of the family; and a host of many friends.
