Obituary of Paul Decker

Paul L Decker, Jr. 73, of Livingston Manor, NY passed away into eternal grace on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY following a long hard battle with respiratory illness. Paul was the beloved son of the late Paul Sr. and Frances Decker, born in Livingston Manor on May 19, 1939. He was a member and past master of the Livingston Manor Masonic Lodge # 798 F&AM and a member of the Livingston Manor Presbyterian Church. Paul retired from the Department of Environmental Protection as a systems operator. After his retirement he enjoyed doing things with his family, he also was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Beverly (Soules) Decker; their children: Paul (Redneck) Decker III, of Livingston Manor, Kimberly Heinle and Kevin of White Sulphur Springs, NY, Jodi Moran and Jimmy of Jeffersonville, NY and four grandchildren: Samuel and Katie Heinle, Jamie and Joey Moran, along with his "special little" buddy "Skippy" who was always by his side. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22nd, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A Masonic service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 22nd, at 7:30 p.m. and his funeral service will follow at 8 p.m., Virginia Bosley will officiate.
