Please accept my condolences for Henny's passing. She worked for my deceased uncle, "Mr. Nick" Padilla, and it was there my grandfather met her. They lived in the apartment upstairs from my mother, Maureen, sister Kerri and father in the home my grandfather owned. She had infinite patience with a rather irritable cat she owned who was always scratching her.She knitted me a sweater i continue to treasure after 45 years, and she had an amazing garden and could grow dahlias from seeds! Once my grandfather passed away, she and my mother left the home and she moved back to live with her sister in Woodbourne. I have been thinking of her lately, and of her generosity and kindness, and am sad I lost touch with her.
