Irma, 83, of Woodridge NY left us restfully and peacefully December 30 2015. Her loving husband Bob, son Robert, and Brother Harry were by her side.
Irma had a big heart for everyone and deeply loved and cared for her family and husband of 60 years.
After attending Buffalo State and Cooper Union Irma entered into a career in banking where she worked her way up from Clerk to President. She retired to devote her life to raising her three boys and traveling in the family motorhome around the US, Mexico and Canada.
Irma was a talented artist, a passionate reader, loved crossword puzzles and had a mathematical mind.
Irma worked hard and learned math at an early age watching and helping her mother in the family grocery store in the Bronx.
Irma is survived by her husband, Robert Longo; Her sons Robert (Robbin), Alan, and Joseph (Michele) and her grandchildren, Ericka, Renata, Gabriel, and Jessi.
Irma’s quiet dignity made the world a better place and we will miss and love her forever.
