Obituary of Sandra Mae Jenkins-Mack

Sandra Jenkins-Mack of Ellenville, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Golden Hill Nursing Home. She was 69. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Jenkins and Kathreene Morris, born in Charleston, SC on June 29, 1946. She worked at the Homowack and Nevele, combined for over 25 years, and was a resident of Ellenville for over 30. Sandra loved to laugh, enjoy her family, friends and came to love the Lord deeply. She was straight forward and honest; you were never in doubt wondering how she felt. Those she loved she truly loved and she showed her love in a unique way. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister she will be sorely missed. She is survived by her sons: Raymond Jenkins of New York City, Terry Andre Mack and his wife, Elizabeth of Kingston, and Joseph Sabb and his wife, Carla of Riverview, FL; ten grandchildren: Andrea, Andre, Anthony, Rasean, and Malcolm Mack, Raymond Jr. and Daquan Jenkins, Katrice, Jordan and Jasmine Sabb; nine great-grandchildren; and her brother, Raymond Jenkins. She is further survived by family members: Minnie Simmrons and Rebecca Allen of Ellenville, as well as David Sabb and many nieces and nephews and a host of many friends who will miss her dearly. She is predeceased by her parents, two children: Shawn Stone and Michelle Mack; her sisters: Mary Small and Mona Jenkins. Sing for Joy, O heavens! Rejoice, O Earth! Burst into song, O Mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people and will have compassion on them in their suffering. Isaiah 49:13 Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 24th at New Testament Church of Jesus Christ, 39 Clinton Ave, Ellenville, NY 12428. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. Raymond Younger will be officiating.
