Obituary of Kenneth Ernest Bingham

Kenneth Ernest Bingham Sr., passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at home with his loving family by his side. He was 82. He was the son of the late James and Peggy Brosenham Bingham, born on December 5, 1932 in Ware, MA. Kenneth proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a Korean War Veteran. He was a 51 year member of the Local 147 Sand Hogs. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an honest, loyal and hardworking man. He was the type of man that was always there when you needed him and never gave up on any of his children. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ellen Bingham; his five daughters: Peggy McComick, Mary and Peter Lowe, Barbara and Ralph Cannon, Kim and Christopher Martin, Cathy Aylmer and partner, Brett Howard; one son, Kenneth E. Bingham Jr.; 11 grandchildren: Laurie, Scott, Joey, Lindsay, Coby, Samantha, Randi, Kristal, Kourtney, Bryan and Elisabeth Illing and her husband, Xaver. Elisabeth was like his 6th daughter who bravely took special care of him until the end. He had eight great grandchildren and one on the way. He was predeceased by one son, Joseph Patrick Bingham and his son-in-law, Brian McCormick. At the request of the family services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties 800 Stony Brook Court Road, Newburgh, NY 12550.
