Obituary of Dorothy Brue

Dorothy Brue of Monticello passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at home. She was 72. She was the daughter of the late Ollie and Eva O`Rourke Brue, born on August 15, 1942 in Mobile, Alabama. Dorothy was one of nine children; she came to Sullivan ARC in 1985. She worked at Sullivan Industries and most currently was a member of Rose Valley Senior Program at Sullivan ARC. She is survived by her extended family at Sullivan ARC but will especially be missed by her housemates at Starr Avenue. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 11:00am-12:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Woodbourne Cemetery.
