Obituary of Adrian Betancourt

Adrian Betancourt of Woodridge passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 26. He was the son of Jorge and Dinorah Pichardo Betancourt, born on November 18, 1988 in New York City, NY. Adrian had a passion for drawing, enjoyed fishing and baseball. He was member of the Woodridge Fire Department and St. Peters Church in Monticello. Adrian was an amazing person that would give the shirt off his back for someone in need. He was a loving son, devoted father, brother and uncle and will be deeply missed by everyone. He is survived by his parents, Jorge and Dinorah Betancourt; his son, Sebastian Betancourt and his mother, Trista Houghtaling; his siblings: Jorge Betancourt Sr. of Brooklyn, Christine Betancourt and he husband, Don Begbie of Woodridge and Vanessa Pichardo; his grandfather, Rafael Pichardo; his nieces and nephews: Jorge Jr., Julesis, Christian, Rachael, Catherine and Lillian Betancourt, Peyton and Raphael Pichardo and a host of friends.
