Obituary of Gabriel Betancourt

Gabriel Betancourt of Woodridge passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at home. He was 31. He was the son of Jorge and Dinorah Pichardo Betancourt, born on May 16, 1984 in New York City, NY. Gabriel was a member of Mountaindale Fire Department and St. Peters Church in Monticello. Gabriel loved music, computers, games and sports. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, he will be missed deeply by everyone that knew and loved him. His daughter, Lillian was his pride and joy. He is survived by his parents, Jorge and Dinorah Betancourt; his daughter, Lillian Betancourt; his siblings: Jorge Betancourt Sr. of Brooklyn, Christine Betancourt and her husband, Don Begbie of Woodridge and Vanessa Pichardo; his grandfather, Rafael Pichardo; his nieces and nephews: Jorge Jr., Julesis, Christian, Rachael, Catherine and Sebastian Betancourt, Peyton and Raphael Pichardo and a host of friends.
