Obituary of Mary DeVaynes

Mary DeVaynes, a 28-year resident of Youngsville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 78. She was the daughter of the late Nicola and Rose Salzano Vacca born on December 5, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY. Mary devoted her life to her husband, William, and her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that will be sorely missed. She was a dedicated Jehovah Witness and was a member of Kingdom Hall. She is survived by her devoted husband, William DeVaynes; loving children: Deborah Heusel and her husband, Steve, Doreen Randall and her husband, Jack, Diane Campbell and her husband, Michael, Donna Del Re and her husband, Guy, Dora Wright and her husband, Eric and Mary DeVaynes; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Frances Pemberton and her husband, Jack, Rose Reda and her husband, John, John Vacca and his wife, Annette, Frank Vacca and his wife, Trudy, Grace Prendergast, Patricia Farone. She was predeceased by one sister, Babe McAllen. Visitation will be today, Wednesday, May 1st, at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be at 8 p.m. this evening, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations will be greatly appreciated and can be sent to Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, PO Box 520, Woodbourne, NY 12788.
