Obituary of Norma Oestrich

Norma Oestrich entered into rest on Monday April 20, 2015 at Achieve Nursing Home in Liberty, NY. She was 87. The daughter of Josef Nellen, she was born on January 28, 1928 in New York City. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Oestrich. Survivors include niece Gail S. Simpson of Livingston Manor, NY; and nephew Frederick DuMond of Livingston Manor, NY. She is additionally survived by many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Norma was an avid traveler. Before her declining health, Norma enjoyed traveling to many places including Hawaii, Alaska, Egypt, and most of Europe. Norma was always up for an adventure. She was loved and will be dearly missed. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday April 24, 2015 at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Livingston Manor, NY.
