Obituary of Gail Corley Street
Gail Diane Corley Street also known as ?Mama Gail? daughter of the late Hamilton ?Sonny? and Louvenia Corley passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Kaplan family Hospice Residence in Newburg, NY on June 1, 2013 after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born in the Bronx, N.Y at Jacobi Hospital on May 7, 1956. She was the eldest of four children, graduating from Evader Child?s High School, Bronx, NY in 1974. She married in 1983 and relocated permanently to Sullivan County in 1994. For 19 years she worked with people with disabilities, retiring from the Center for Discovery She is survived by her husband Craig Street and they bore 4 children together Nicole Corley of Smallwood, Craig Corley Jr. of Monticello, Damon ?Bobby? Corley of Monticello and Ashley ?Ash Cash: Street of Monticello, two stepsons Anthony Timmons of Texas, Rashain Adams of the Bronx, NY one granddaughter Destiny Le Grand of Smallwood, one sister Bridgette Corley (Bobbi) Middletown, two brothers Edward Corley (Theresa) of South Fallsburg and Jason Corley of Woodridge, one brother in law Rodney Street of NYC her closes Aunt Alberta Williams of Monticello, one uncle Richard Corley of NYC, three Godsons Aggri ?Patrick? Byas of NJ, Tyrell Buckner of South Fallsburg, Robert H. Williams Jr. of NYC one Goddaughter Tynesia M. More of the Bronx, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a community if friends, family and neighbors. Visitation will be on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 7-9:00pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, N.Y 12788, and Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of South Fallsburg, from 10-11:00am. A Funeral Services will follow at the church at 11:00AM. Memorial donations in Gail?s name can be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House Residence, 1 Sunrise Lane, Newburgh, NY 12550. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Stacey Buckner and Darlene Harris for their unconditional love and support not only for Gail but for the family.
