ALEX JENKINS April 29, 1940 - January 15, 2011 Glen Spey, NY Alex Jenkins of Glen Spey passed away in New City on January 15, 2011. He was 70 years old. Alex was born April 29, 1940, in Warwick. Since November 12, 2001, his family had been the staff and the individuals who live at Silverman House of The Crystal Run Village Inc. Alex attended Rose Valley day program at Sullivan ARC. He is survived by his sister,; Edith and Ida. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Russel. The years he spent at Silverman were happy and content and he will be greatly missed by everyone. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 18, at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home from 1 to 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., with The Rev. Nancy Vonderhorst officiating.
