Obituary of Joyce Gaughan

Joyce Marie Gaughan of Monticello passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 75. She was the daughter of the late Gladys Stewart Tomei and step father Eugene Tomei, born on January 21, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. Joyce enjoyed many different activities such as bingo, and game shows. She was a member of St. Peters Church in Monticello, and loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved her. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children James Scott Gaughan, Jane Donato, Glenn Michael Gaughan and his wife Susan, and Paul Gaughan, her grandchildren James Anthony Donato and his wife Amy, James Ryan Gaughan, Joyce Marie Donato and her partner Patrick Maxwell, Richard Allen Donato Jr. and his wife Lynsey, Robert Lee Donato and his fiance Debra Ann Lynch, MaryJane Donato, Marc Anthony Gaughan, Glenn Michael Gaughan Jr., Patrick Edward Gaughan, Carlie Ann Gaughan, and Alaina Frances Gaughan, great grandchildren Michelle Carmela Donato, Daniel James Donato, Giada Marie Filamena Donato, and Madelyne Virginia Maxwell. She was predeceased by her husband James Eugene Gaughan of 30 years, and her two brothers Stewart William Jamieson, and Hugh Charles Jamieson. Visitation will be on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 7-9pm. A funeral service will be at 7:30pm at the funeral home, interment will be held privately at the conveniences of the family.
