Obituary of Gustav Bock
Gustav Bock of Livingston Manor passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Sullivan County Adult Care Center. He was 91.
He was the son of the late Gustav August Bock, born on July 27, 1919 in Czechoslovakia.
Gustav proudly served our county in the United States Army during WWII. For many years he worked as a clerk in the accounting department of the Sullivan County Social Service Agency. He loved music and was a very talented man who enjoyed playing the piano. Gustav had a unique sense of humor that will truly be missed.
He is survived by his loving wife Vera, a daughter, a grandson, a great granddaughter and very special friends Gary and Laurie Frunzi and family.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Road, Liberty, NY at 1:00 pm.
Gary and Laurie Frunzi would like to extend a special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Sullivan County Adult Care Center and the nurses of Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties for all of their help and exceptional care.
