Obituary of Salvatore Scamoni

Salvatore Scamoni of Livingston Manor, NY passed away on Saturday August 23, 2014. Salvatore was born on June 29, 1932 in New Britain CT. He was 82. Salvatore was the former owner of A&S Plumbing and Electric. Salvatore proudly served his country as a Corporal in the Korean War from 1950 to 1953 in the 7th division 32nd Infantry Regiment. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, Korean War Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, United Nations Service Medal and five Bronze Stars. Salvatore is predeceased by his wife, Louise Scamoni on October 25, 2010 and his daughter, Gail Brancheni on January 23, 2011. Salvatore leaves behind his son, Santo Liguori; his daughter-in-law, Marie Liguori; his grandchildren: Santo, Andrew and Teresa Liguori; his great grandchildren: Dominic, Peyton and Sophia Liguori; his sister-in-law, Margaret Loungo and her sons: Dominic, Michael and Salvatore Loungo; his brother-in-law, Pat Rayano and his wife, Sue and his son-in-law, Frank Brancheni. Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26 at Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl St., Livingston Manor NY with a Funeral Service following.
