Obituary of Robert Magie

Robert James Magie of Woodbourne passed away suddenly on Monday, July 25, 2011. He was 39. He was the son of Robert W. and Louise Dischlatis Magie, born on May 17, 2011 in Liberty, NY. Bobby was known as a real outdoorsman who loved hunting. He was an active member of the local fire houses. Bobby was past Chief of the Loch Sheldrake Fire Department and associate member of the Woodbourne Fire Department. Bobby was a proud father of three children and two step children, devoted husband and loving son who will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving parents Robert W. and Louise Magie, his companion Melissa Magie at home, three children Kayla, Tyler, and Troy Magie, two step children Olivia and Brianne, his siblings Frank and his companion Rebecca, Angie Shaver and her husband Richie all of Loch Sheldrake, his grandmother Rose Crispell, nine nieces and nephews: Tyler, Kenneth, Austin, Chey, Richie, Austin, LeeAnn, Ethan, and Weston. He was predeceased by his grandparents Minnie and James Magie. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9pm Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. There will be a Firematic Service at 7:30pm. A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 at the funeral home at 11:00.
