Obituary of Jakiya Davis

At 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013, Jakiya Marie Davis, the daughter of Alexis Miller and Antawon Davis of South Fallsburg, passed away at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 1, 2013, weighing only 4lb 10oz. She spent a total of one hundred and eleven days in Albany Medical Center. During the brief time Jakiya was with us, she touched and changed the lives of many. She is survived by her mother, Alexis Miller; father, Antawon Davis;grandmothers: Kristina Davison and Willie Ann Davis; grandfather, Kenny Carter; great-grandmother, Ethel Miller; uncles: LaShawn Davis and Anthony Davis; aunt, Makenzie Miller and her God-parents: Amanda Parker, Christina Feeney, Randy Mack and Sean Buckner. Jakiya will be deeply missed by many more friends and family members. A Funeral Service will be on held Friday, July 5, at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 at 12 noon. Rev. Norman R. Graves will officiate.
