Obituary of Peter Ognan

Peter Ognan of Woodbury, CT. passed away unexpectedly on September 12 , 2011 in Woodbury CT. he was 60. He was the son of the late John and Julia Lagonowicz Ognan born on September 25, 1950 in Waterbury, CT. Peter was an active member of his Catholic church and was a Religious Education Teacher. He was an avid action movie goer he who would never let a good movie go unseen. He was a loving father, brother and friend who will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his two sons Matthew and John Ognan and one daughter Vivian Ognan, one sister Christine Ognan Hill, two Uncles Walter and Pete r Lagonowicz, ,and many friends, especially friend Bob Meadows. Visitation will be on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 2-3:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:30pm at the funeral home.
