Obituary of Ralph W. Stephenson
Ralph W. Stephenson passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Roscoe Regional Rehab and RHCF. He was 83.
He was the son of the late Clarence and Mildred Long Stephenson born on April 2, 1930 in Bethel, NY.
He proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. For many years he worked as a construction laborer in the Local 17. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver, Jean L. Stephenson; his children: Vickie Shampine and her husband, Gary, Barbara Stephenson and her husband, Steven Livsey, Randy Stephenson, and Craig Stephenson and his wife, Stacey; six grandchildren: Melonie Madison and her husband, Elliott, Jennifer Sabatini, Randy Stephenson II, Steven C. Livsey, Jase Stephenson, and Paul
Loizeaux; four great-grandchildren: Evan and Marlee Madison, Rocco and Nick Sabatini; one brother, Harold Stephenson; his son-in-law, Matthew Loizeaux, and many loving extended family members.
He was predeceased by daughter, Kathy Lynn Loizeaux; one brother, Leo Stephenson and one sister, Charlotte Stephenson.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 26th, at Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12 p.m., Rev. Fran Waite will officiate. Interment will follow at Lew Beach Cemetery, Lew Beach, NY.
