Obituary of Elizabeth Ortiz David

ELIZABETH "CHAMBE" ORTIZ DAVID April 23, 1942 - October 25, 2011 Formerly of Livingston Manor, NY Elizabeth "Chambe" Ortiz David of New Jersey and formerly of Livingston Manor, NY passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. She was 69. She was the daughter of the late Carlos and Juana Maria Ortiz David Reyes, born in Coamo Puerto Rico on April 23, 1942. She was a proud graduate of Livingston Manor Central School. She enjoyed cooking and had a great sense of humor and a special passion for life. She will be missed profoundly by her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children: Bonnie Jones of NJ, Carl Jones Jr. of VA, and William Jones of SC; her siblings: Candida Davis and her husband, Carl, Ruben David and Linda Wright all of Livingston Manor, Elias David and his wife of MA, Carlos David Colon and his wife, of Puerto Rico, Efrain David and his wife, of Chicago, Rebecca David of Puerto Rico, nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons Robert Kennedy and Jessie James Jones, and two siblings Gloria "Goya" David, and Josue David. Visitation will be on Friday, October 28 at Herbert C, Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl St., Livingston Manor, NY from 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be on Saturday, October 29 at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Rev. Rafael Gonzales will officiate. Interment will follow at Orchard St. Cemetery, Livingston Manor. Arrangements were under the direction of Herbert C.
