Obituary of Michael Thompson

Michael J. Thompson of Loch Sheldrake entered eternal peace at home on October 30, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 35. He was the son of Mary I. Thompson, and the late Robert G. Thompson, born on December 10, 1975 in Newburgh, NY. Michael was the loving husband to CareyAnn (Vidal) Thompson and wonderful father to 3 daughters, Ariana 12, Kaitlin 8 and Ashley 7, all still at home with their mother. In addition to his wife and daughters he is survived by his mother Mary Thompson of Bullville, his sisters Rene and her husband Don Dickel of Winterport Maine, Kathleen and her husband Anthony Delfini of Wallkill, Audrey and her husband Joseph of Pine Bush, his brothers Robert Thompson Jr. and his wife Laurie of Ellenville, Stephen Thompson and his wife Antoinette of Bullville, numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and in-laws, all who will miss him very much. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 2-4:00pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:30pm. Donations in Michaels name can be made to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, PO Box 66 Woodbourne, NY 12788.
