Obituary of Carolyn Louise Cole

Carolyn Ann Louise Cole of South Fallsburg passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 65, She was the daughter of the late Clifton and Rosie Bell McRae Copeland; born on April 1, 1946 in Eagle Springs, NC. She was predeceased by her brother Clifton Copeland, sisters Earnestine Cole, Betty Jean Cole, Nannie Lee Copeland and Clarise Cole. Carolyn was the Program Coordinator at Sullivan County ARC for 14 years before retiring in December 2009. She was a past member of Holiness Church in Eagle Springs, NC. for many years. She enjoyed many things such as playing bingo watching game shows, and reading her bible every night before bed. Above everything else she loved to spend time with her family, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband whom she married on June 15, 1968 Adolph Jr. Cole at home, her loving children Charles Cole, Toby Cole and her partner Darrell Brandon, and Kelly Cole, all of Albany, NY, one granddaughter Kayla Cole, one brother Granville Copeland of South Fallsburg, one sister Dorothy Mae Brooks of Monticello, NY.; 3 brothers-in-law, Quinzel Cole (Betty) of Westend, NC, Dwight Cole of Eagle Springs, NC, and Meschack Cole (Priscilla) of Richmond, VA; a special niece, Carol Gibbs, of South Fallsburg, NY, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and a host of friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 11-12:00pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00pm. Arrangements were under the direction of Colonial Memorial Funeral Home.
