Sheila Yvonne Willis
Sheila Yvonne Willis, of Monticello, NY departed this life on November 17th 2011 after a short battle with breast cancer, she was surrounded by her family. Sheila was born the middle child of three on March 8th 1947 in Bronx, NY to John H. and Gwendolyn Davis Perkins. She was retired from her career at Sullivan ARC in Direct Care.
Sheila had a great sense of humor and could always find something to laugh about. She loved flowers, gardening and had quite the green thumb with many house plants. She was an avid reader and loved taking care of her dog Nila and watching her soap operas.
She is survived by her siblings Beverly Nedd at home and Ronald Perkins of Reston Virginia and brother-in-law Surbrook Nedd of Liberty along with nephews Sylvester Nedd and his wife Allison, Aaron Nedd and his wife Nicole, Jorge Castelanos and his wife Carolina, Claynard Norford, Christopher Perkins, Gilbert Perkins, Jahreek Bush and Daemion Nedd. She also leaves behind nieces, Carmen Nedd, Mahlia Nedd , and Skeeter Nedd. She is further survived by her great nieces and nephews, Robert, Kevoan, Kalem, Shamair, Syiann, Kianna, Kamora, Kymaya, Zion and Neriah, and a cousin--Shirley Bush and her husband James.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by one great nephew, Keon Nedd, and one great niece, Brianna Nedd.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm on Saturday November 26, 2011, funeral immediately following at 12pm at the First Baptist Church of South Fallsburg with Rev. Norman S. Graves Sr. officiating. Interment at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Monticello, NY
