Obituary of Joanne Romolo
Joanne E. Romolo of Liberty passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Sullivan County Adult Care Center. She was 73.
She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Grace Barnett McKenzie born on November 19, 1938 in Manhattan, NY.
Joanne was a member of the Livingston Manor Presbyterian Church. She spent many years as a waitress for the Robin Hood Diner and the Roscoe Diner. She enjoyed the time she spent at the casino but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister; she will be sincerely missed.
She is survived by her loving children Patrick Romolo and his wife Kristi, Tammy Diescher, and Sheri Tuttle and her husband Robert all of Livingston Manor, grandchildren Tara Diescher, Paul Tuttle, and Melissa Diescher, one great grandson Andrew Victor Payton, a special cousin Sonny Mitchenfelder of Pennsylvania, her sisters Mary Borley and her husband Gary of Binghamton, NY, Doris Knox, Carol Young, Evelyn Barnett all of Ohio, and one son-in-law Victor Diescher.
She was predeceased by her devoted husband Richard ?Chico: Romolo, one grandson Ryan Patrick Romolo, one brother Teddy McKenzie.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
