Jason Banks

Obituary of Jason Lee Banks

Jason Lee Banks, a loving husband, son, brother, and uncle passed away at the tender age of 33.

He was born September 8, 1986, in Harris, NY, to Charles Banks and Kandy Marshall-Banks.

His smile and laughter were contagious as he was so full of life, love, and generosity. He enjoyed being around his siblings, James, Jessica, and Cassandra, spreading his laughter and joy to them as well as his nephews and nieces that he cherished profoundly. His Mother and Father-in-Law much loved him deeply.

Jason was a "Jack of all Trades" as he worked hard as a painter, carpenter, and many other unique jobs. On February 28, 2018, Jason married his soulmate Catherine Ann Rivas and started their new lives together in Stamford, Connecticut with their fur babies Missy and Pote. Jason and Catherine enjoyed being at the beach, having barbecues and spending time with their close friends together. He also enjoyed spending time with his brother-in-law Michael McGee as they watched Football and discussing the world at hand. Jason's life came to an unexpected end, but he will forever be missed nor forgotten by his family, his in-laws, and those who were touched by his presence.

Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 pm on Friday, October 4, 2019, at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A funeral service will follow immediately at the funeral home. Pastor Shannon Bailey will officate.
