I was devastated to hear of the death of Allan Schneider. He was a good friend a wonderful and admirable person. We both were from Brooklyn and worked in hotels in the Borscht Belt. I just wanted to call him to ask him the would at the Moby Dick lecture next week, when I found out that he had passed away.
We had similar interests in books and writing. My condolences to his family. May he rest in Peace
