To my uncle my brother and friend, you were like a brother to me cause you lived with me most of my life.you were a good story teller that’s for sure lol. Many memories of you won’t be forgotten like digging trees with you for years in the fields of North Carolina ,Virginia etc. I loved messing with you it was always a passion of mine but we had many great laughs together and I will live with the memories until we meet again Have fun up there with your black coffee while your digging that white pine in the sky. Love you brother will miss you forever Michael bergerter love your greatest nephew

You weren’t just our Uncle, you were more of a big brother...at least we loved you like one. We have alot of happy memories of the years you spent living with us and our kids growing up with you. You will be forever in our hearts, everytime we think of you it will be with a laugh or smile. We will miss you terribly but you are no longer in pain, or suffering but in the arms of Mommy & Daddy and your brothers & sisters. Rest in peace...we love you!
