Obituary of Bedrich David Joseph Dunda

Bedrich David Joseph Dunda, of Middletown, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 72. He was born on May 30, 1946 in Prague, Czech Republic. Bedrich served in the Czech Army before he moved to the United States then went on to work as a waiter and ski instructor for various hotels in the Catskills. In his free time he enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, skiing and kayaking. He also enjoyed photography, traveling and contradicting the news. But more than anything, he adored his grandchildren. He is survived by his children Jason Harte and his wife Kayliegh, Erica Dunda and her fiancé Bob, Chris Harte, Ashley Harte and Michael and Yvonne Kolarik; his grandchildren Jayden, Riley, Dean, Katerina, Jakub. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 4 to 6pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788.
